Update of African Seminar 2013

                                                              “RUBBER IN AFRICA WITHIN THE GLOBAL CONTEXT”

The Ministry of Agriculture, Cote d’Ivoire and the International Rubber Study Group is pleased to update you on its African Seminar in Abidjan scheduled on Tuesday the 8th January 2013.

The seminar will be held at Hotel Ivotel Abidjan, 01 BP 1336 ABIDJAN 01, Côte d'Ivoire 1336.
The seminar will begin at 08:00 hours and end at 17:30 hours

  IRSG’s global overview covering NR/SR plus the downstream demand
for rubber over the next decade

 Afternoon Session     : R&D, Technology Transformation and Quality Improvement
  - Potential and challenges for yield improvements in Africa
  Quality improvement vis-a -via Out-grower schemes
  Sustainable Rubber Production- Potential Opportunities for Africa:
  - Panel Discussion (Moderated by IRSG )
  - Panel members: Producer Governments/ Plantations/Downstream)
